Battery Energy Storage Systems for Grid-Centric Services

The Department of Wind and Energy Systems at DTU invites applications for a research associate position focused on the development of battery energy storage systems for grid-centric services. This project aims to design and optimize battery energy storage systems for efficient power delivery and management.

The successful candidate will have expertise in power systems, electrical engineering, and software development, as well as experience with simulation tools and programming languages such as Python or MATLAB. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and optimizing battery energy storage systems for grid-centric applications
  • Developing and testing simulation models for power system stability and performance
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate new technologies into existing systems
