Lead Product Manager - Network Design Platform

At Habetz Network of Northwestern Mutual, we're revolutionizing trade with our industry-defining digital transformation. As a Lead Product Manager on our Network Design Platform, you'll play a vital role in automating and optimizing our operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define the vision for our Network Design Platform and build a roadmap to achieve it.
  2. Develop detailed business requirements and user stories to create product specifications.
  3. Contribute to engineering and data science discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
  4. Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business needs, technical limitations, performance, and operational constraints.
  5. Manage cross-functional stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Operations Research and/or Data Science background with hands-on experience applying advanced optimization models to solve business problems.
  2. Experienced product manager capable of managing complex roadmaps and working in collaboration with tech, science, UX, business, and functional leaders.
  3. Passionate about using technology to improve business outcomes for our customers.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to evaluate hypotheses and assumptions to drive decision-making.
  5. A natural interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimization of processes.
  6. Understanding user needs and insights with an ability to translate these to digital journeys and user stories, specifically to reduce manual tasks.
  7. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and drive alignment on the product direction.
  8. Ability to stay motivated in a fast-moving environment where priorities change and with a requirement to deliver results.
  9. Independent and self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous product management experience from a top tech firm.
  2. Experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  3. Hands-on experience working in Operations Research and/or Data Science.
