We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Engineering Director to join our team at Struers ApS. As a key member of our Operations Group, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production and delivery of our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 30 people in Denmark and the Czech Republic, responsible for Product & Manufacturing Engineering, connected to our production units.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize global engineering processes and systems, minimize production downtime, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with the global operations leadership team to deploy strategy and create results.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure and improve performance.
- Relevant master's degree in production or mechanical engineering, complemented by leadership training.
- Several years of experience in organizations that work with high-tech machinery and its development.
- Experience in product maintenance and from a production engineering department (PTA) in a machinery or equipment manufacturing company with a full value chain.
- Experience in leading highly trained specialists and managing through other leaders, including remote leadership.
- Accustomed to working with quality and cost management, and preferably experienced and certified in LEAN/LEAN Six Sigma.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
- IT is a natural work tool, and you are familiar with PLM, ECO, and/or NCR systems and an experienced user of Microsoft 365.
