Area Controller for Denmark

Job Description
We are now searching for a highly skilled Area Controller for H&M Denmark.
As an Area Controller, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability growth in your area, covering approximately 20-25 stores. Your main objective is to maximize the profit in your Area by securing the store operations, driving selling, and improving the customer service offer.
Key Responsibilities
• Increase Selling: Together with your Area Team, you will ensure strong Commercial Execution in stores. You will identify and act on business opportunities to improve the performance of your area.
• Scheduling & Staff Planning: You will be responsible for securing the scheduling and best practice processes that effect the customer experience. Together with the Store Manager, you will define the staff level per task, day, and hour to secure the right amount of resources at the right time.
• Securing Operations: You will educate Store Teams on operational best practices and ensure that the setup of the store is optimized to deliver great customer experience and high task efficiency. Educating Store Managers is a key part of this process.
• Cost Control: You will follow up and act on the Salary Cost development in your area. You will constantly search for opportunities to optimize these. You will be aware of the Shop Costs deviations and together with relevant functions, you will initiate corrective actions accordingly.
• Coaching & Training: You will educate Store Managers on how to identify selling opportunities and take actions to improve the customer experience. You will be the profit coach within your area and secure the knowledge among all stakeholders. You will train controlling talents and drive their development to secure succession within the market.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a minimum of 3-year working experience within retail, consulting, or business analysis. You should have strong analytical skills and the ability to train and coach the Area- and Store Teams. You should also have strong track record of working analytically in Excel and clear logical thinking and well-developed analytical skills. You should be detail-oriented, with strong organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills. You should be a natural leader with an ability to inspire others to perform at their very best. You should be passionate about retail and developing the customer experience in-store. You should also have an interest for working in a dynamic team and fast-paced environment. Strong business mindset, great communication skills, and a true team player are also required.
