The University of Copenhagen is Denmark's largest science research and education institution with 4,000 employees and 9,700 Bachelor and Master's students in 12 departments. Our faculty prioritizes work-life balance, egalitarian work culture, and supports dual career families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop device and wafer-scale fabrication processes in collaboration with Fabrication Tools Development, Characterization, and Quantum Platform Integration teams.
  • Implement and document in-process work streams, protocol instructions, tests, and specifications.
  • Analyze correlations between processes (process parameters/conditions, metrology data).
  • Track variation and process capability, identify, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Involvement in tool development for enabling new fabrication technologies.
  • Analyze requirements against existing capabilities and estimate risks and yields for new processes.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in material science, chemical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience with microelectronics and/or photonics fabrication and/or testing.
  • Experience with fab processing techniques including e-beam and optical lithography, dry and wet etching methods, evaporation, bonding, dicing, and packaging.
  • Proficient in data tracking and analysis methods (e.g., six sigma concepts).
  • Ability to assume a technical leadership role while driving an innovative culture and growth mindset.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position will be approximately DKK 750,000 - DKK 950,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including free universal healthcare, free/subsidized language courses, paid parental leave, subsidized day care institutions, and excellent public schools.
