We are seeking a Business Development Director to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. This newly created position will support the current Sales Manager in Denmark and develop the Scandinavian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales for assigned territories, promoting employees, and providing sales support where necessary. They will also monitor the company's order processing and involve the CEO if difficulties arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales growth in Denmark and other Nordic countries
  • Recognizing purchasing policy behavior of customers and informing the CEO of any observations
  • Recording visit reports and route planning in accordance with company regulations
  • Acquiring new customers independently or in consultation with the CEO

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in trade, commercial, or sales, with 5-7 years of experience in sales. Knowledge of the market and Nordic countries is essential. The successful candidate will be fluent in written and spoken Danish and English, with German, Swedish, or Norwegian being a plus.
