We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Development Expert to join our team at DanChurchAid (DCA). As a member of our Global Partnerships and Resource Mobilization Unit, you will play a critical role in securing funding for our programs and projects in various regions.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure funding for DCA's programs and projects. To achieve this, you will need to build and maintain relationships with institutional donors, develop concepts and proposals that meet donor criteria, and coordinate project design and proposal writing processes with country offices and HQ units.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and diplomatic abilities. You will work closely with colleagues across different departments and locations, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in partnerships development, donor engagement, and grants management. They will possess a deep understanding of institutional donor policies and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS: Establish and maintain relationships with institutional donors to secure funding for DCA's programs and projects
  • CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT: Develop concepts and proposals that meet donor criteria, in close collaboration with country offices and HQ units
  • PROJECT DESIGN: Coordinate project design and proposal writing processes, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and DCA's strategic objectives
  • STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Engage stakeholders, both internally and externally, to develop long-term relationships and enhance DCA's reputation and credibility
  • FUNDRAISING STRATEGIES: Facilitate the rollout of country office fundraising strategies and integrate them with country programme strategies, prioritizing funding opportunities based on donor preferences
