About the Role

As a Strategic Communications Director at Just-Eat ApS, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's reputation and guiding its public affairs and corporate communications strategy. With a strong focus on Denmark, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive business ambitions and enhance the company's long-term reputation.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Danish political and institutional sphere, as well as expertise in working with journalists, policy stakeholders, interest groups, and trade associations. You will be responsible for setting up and professionalizing the Public Affairs and Corporate Communication function, monitoring media coverage, regulatory developments, and delivering analyses to key stakeholders.

You will also promote and represent Just-Eat's vision and values towards various stakeholders, including journalists, governmental bodies, think tanks, public interest groups, or industry associations. Your task will be to design and draft Public Affairs and Corporate Communications strategy in close collaboration with Danish business priorities and align it with the company's global goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Public Affairs and Corporate Communications strategies that support business objectives and align with global goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, government officials, regulators, industry associations, and alliance partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and Public Affairs and Corporate Communications strategy.
  • Represent Just-Eat externally in publications, events, and policymaker settings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Communications, Political Science, Law, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in public affairs and/or corporate communications within an in-house corporate policy or communication function, consultancy firm, interest group/trade association, or government.
  • Strong knowledge of and network in the Danish political and institutional sphere and media landscape.
  • Excellent language skills in English and Danish, with the ability to write and translate complex issues into clear, concise language.
