We are seeking an experienced Curatorial Project Manager to join our team at the University of Copenhagen's Natural History Museum. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile exhibitions and contribute to creating engaging experiences for visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage exhibition projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with curators, designers, and other stakeholders to develop exhibit content and narratives.
- Oversee the development of interpretive materials, including labels, interactive displays, and educational programs.
- Foster partnerships with external organizations and communities to enhance exhibit relevance and impact.
- MSc or equivalent degree in a relevant field (e.g., museum studies, art history, education).
- Proven experience in curatorial or project management roles within museums or cultural institutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Familiarity with exhibit design principles and visitor engagement strategies.
The salary for this position is approximately DKK 580,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The University of Copenhagen offers a range of benefits, including flexible working hours, generous parental leave policies, and access to on-campus amenities.
