We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Professor of Childhood Studies and Educational Anthropology. The successful candidate will be part of the Department of Educational Anthropology and Educational Psychology and will be based at either Emdrup Campus in Copenhagen or Aarhus Campus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and lead research in social and cultural childhood studies and educational anthropology
  • Teach and supervise students at the Master's and PhD degree programmes
  • Develop and implement PhD courses on research in childhood studies
  • Recruit and supervise PhD students
  • Engage in knowledge exchange with government agencies, municipalities, NGOs, and wider civil society actors
  • Contribute to public debate and exercise academic leadership
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent academic qualifications
  • Strong track record in research leadership, research funding, and international research cooperation
  • Documented original scientific production at the highest international level
  • Significant scholarly contributions to theoretical, methodological, and thematic developments within the field of childhood studies
  • Ability to document visions for future developments in the field
