Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Sustainability Officer and Health Safety Director to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability strategy, ensuring that our operations are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of sustainability throughout the organization.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to lead our sustainability efforts and drive positive change across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, develop solutions, and implement initiatives that promote sustainability and safety. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in driving our sustainability agenda forward.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement our sustainability strategy, aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Lead the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Foster a culture of sustainability and safety throughout the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable practices
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., environmental science, sustainability, health and safety)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability, health and safety, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and generous paid time off.
