Job Responsibilities

As Area Head of Sales, you'll be part of the ALT for Mekong and the Sales leadership team for APA. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing our business, outstripping competitors with a positive mindset.
  • Producing clear, transparent data to manage and report our business.
  • Defining and communicating a clear overview of our strategy and how people contribute to delivering that plan.
  • Representing the customer voice to ensure our products meet their needs.
  • Following the Maersk Operating System (MOS) for engaging meetings with your team.
  • Generating a team of can-do spirited people striving to beat targets.
Key Performance Indicators

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading and setting direction for the sales team according to budget.
  • Coaching and driving the sales team to sell and grow our product portfolio.
  • Defining and setting targets for sales incentives with Sales FBP.
  • Actively monitoring local NPS and driving local improvement to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Managing stakeholders across the area, region, and global functions.
Requirements

We're looking for a candidate with:

  • 15 years of sales experience in freight-forwarding companies.
  • A growth mindset, always trying to go beyond targets.
  • Ability to identify customer pain points using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent attention to detail and a drive to serve customers.
  • Motivational leadership skills.
  • Solid planning skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and set focus/direction.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
