Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Centre for Military Studies, Department of Political Science, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Copenhagen.



Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research in defence, security, and strategic studies.
  • Develop and lead research projects, including applied research and commissioned analytical tasks for national and international stakeholders.
  • Engage in knowledge sharing with society, including media appearances and public lectures.
  • Teach and supervise undergraduate and post-graduate students at the Department of Political Science.


Requirements:


  • PhD in Political Science or equivalent academic qualifications.
  • Proven track record of outstanding research, a well-received PhD dissertation, and an emerging international reputation.
  • Documented experience with knowledge exchange and/or policy impact in an international context and in Denmark.
  • Documented teaching experience in one or more of the main areas covered by the Department.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering an excellent student experience.
