Senior NeuroImaging Research Scientist in Epilepsy Diagnostics

The Neurobiologisk Forskningsenhed, Rigshospitalet is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join its team of researchers in the field of neuroimaging and deep learning. As a key member of our research unit, you will play a vital role in improving the current state-of-the-art automatic detection of brain abnormalities in epilepsy.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work closely with expert clinicians in epilepsy to develop models that assist diagnosis. You will be responsible for researching and implementing advanced neuroimaging techniques, including MRI analysis, to identify and characterize brain abnormalities in epilepsy patients. Your expertise in deep learning models applied to medical imaging will be essential in developing novel algorithms and methods for detecting abnormalities in MR images of clinical quality.
In addition to your technical skills, you will provide technical support to clinicians in their respective research projects, collaborating closely with them to ensure the successful implementation of our research findings in clinical practice.
Requirements and Qualifications- PhD in Neuroimaging, Medical Imaging or equivalent.
- Established expertise in deep learning models applied to medical imaging.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

The terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between Danish Regions and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the Regions. We also offer a special tax scheme for researchers recruited abroad, subject to approval by the Independent Research Fund Denmark.
