We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research, University of Copenhagen. As a Bioinformatics and Genomics Research Scientist, you will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment focused on understanding cardiometabolic health.

Research Overview

The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research projects investigating the molecular underpinnings of diabetes and its associated cardiovascular complications. You will leverage extensive omics datasets, including genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, and metagenomics, to develop novel approaches for integrating these layers of information and identifying molecular signatures.

  • You will investigate biomarkers and clinical features associated with varying disease progression and the risk of developing diabetes-related complications.
  • Collaborate with researchers from diverse disciplines, including genetics, physiology, and pharmacology, to gain a comprehensive understanding of cardiometabolic health.
About the Role

Requirements
