Aarhus Universitet (AU) invites applications for an Associate Professor position in Property Law. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's teaching and research within Danish property law.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and supervise in Danish property law courses on all the university's programs.
- Conduct research in property law, with a focus on Danish property law.
- Contribute to the department's PhD degree program.
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and research groups to advance the field of property law.
- Undertake research management and pursue external funding opportunities.
- Research and teaching qualifications at a level attained following a satisfactory period as an assistant professor or equivalent.
- Documentation of teaching and examination qualifications, including preparation of written exam papers.
- Documentation of original scientific production at an international level within the subject area.
- Experience in presenting and disseminating research within the subject area.
- Breadth and depth of research publications, demonstrating a good overview and solid understanding of property law's basic rules and concepts.
- Ability to contribute to the further development of the subject area.
Applicants must submit a curriculum vitae, education diploma, list of publications, publications (up to five), and a teaching portfolio. Materials that cannot be uploaded may be submitted in five copies to Aarhus BSS HR & PhD.
Terms of Employment:The appointment is made in accordance with the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Danish Universities and the Collective Agreement for Academics Employed by the State.
