You can plan your own working hours and tasks and meet deadlines. The organization is structured so that you report to the experienced IKEA Food Manager in IKEA Food.

Your responsibilities

In collaboration with the FOOD Manager and our Team Leaders in IKEA FOOD, one of your primary tasks is to create good experiences for the guests of the Restaurant, Bistro, and SFM, including serving well-prepared food and maintaining a high level of service. We have a large assortment of Swedish specialties and sustainable products, where the main task, in collaboration with the store, will be to promote our products, generate sales, create awareness, and attract new customers.

You have direct leadership responsibilities, and your daily challenge will be to develop and motivate the department's employees and optimize sales in the Restaurant, Bistro, and SFM with an overarching commercial focus. You should expect the position to involve a fair amount of administrative work, including self-inspection, hygiene, ordering goods, and planning campaigns. You will engage in commercial collaboration with colleagues across functions and represent IKEA FOOD in several commercial groups and forums. At the same time, you will be among your employees on the floor, driving the department with a focus on sales and service.

You achieve this by:
Being outgoing and approachable towards both employees and guests
Ensuring good service by working with employees to deliver an exceptional customer experience
Keeping an eye on maintaining cleanliness and tidiness
Ensuring that we always comply with all hygiene and self-inspection regulations
Collaborating with the leadership team in IKEA Food and other store functions
Following up on sales figures and identifying opportunities to optimize the turnover of the Restaurant, Bistro, and Swedish Food Market
Planning campaigns and leveraging all commercial opportunities

Additonal information

The position is 37+ hours per week on a salaried contract, where additional and overtime work is included in the salary.
Working hours are scheduled between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM from Monday to Sunday, with weekend work every third weekend.
You will be part of a shift rotation with both staffing and responsibility hours; additionally, you will plan your own working hours according to the business's needs.
Salary based on qualifications and in accordance with IKEA's salary policy.

We desire commencement on xx.24 or by agreement.
