SAP Denmark is looking for a motivated Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team and take our sales performance to the next level.
As our Senior Account Executive, you will:
Prospect and Close: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with high-profile customers in Denmark.
Strategize and Lead: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed cloud subscription revenue targets.
Be a Trusted Advisor: Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, leveraging your deep understanding of their needs to add genuine value.
Stay Ahead of the Game: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive landscapes to provide tailored solutions that address our customers’ strategic growth plans.
Territory and Account Management: Lead your designated territory, profile prospects, and manage sales cycles to ensure your accounts become strong references for SAP.
Pipeline Planning: Maintain and grow a robust pipeline by leveraging support from marketing, inside sales, partners, and channels.
Collaboration: Leverage collaborative efforts with internal teams and external partners to drive sales efforts and close deals.
Expectations and Tasks
Account Management: Build and manage customer relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
Generate pipeline and identify prospects and leads.
Quota Attainment: Achieve and exceed quota targets in Cloud subscription revenue.
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive business plans that address customer needs and pain points effectively.
Industry Insights: Stay updated on public information, including executive appointments, earnings statements, and press releases, to inform your sales strategies.
Demand Generation: Actively generate demand and manage opportunities to close sales through effective execution of sales strategies.
Event Support: Participate in and support all SAP promotions and events within your territory.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Track Record: 5+ years of experience selling complex business software / IT solutions, with a focus on Cloud/SaaS.
Experience identifying leads for NNN.
C-Level Engagement: Strong experience in C-level conversations and negotiations.
Account Leadership: Experience managing large accounts and leading account teams.
SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP’s Service and Support along with ERP offerings is a plus.
Communication Skills: Outstanding communication and presentation skills in Danish and English.
Educational Background: Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with a strong understanding of business processes.
Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
Exceptional Communicator: Able to effectively communicate at all levels, including CxO.
Strategic Thinker: High degree of creativity and innovation in developing and executing sales strategies.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Danish and English is mandatory.
