PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
The software market in the Nordics & Baltics is characterized by a very dynamic market and a highly innovative and competitive landscape. The growth of enterprise applications in the region is very strong, and digital transformation continues to be the main driver for change of current business models. Digitalization, Sustainability, and Artificial Intelligence are fueling fast growth of leading-edge and end-to-end integrated Supply Chain solutions, especially when it comes to defining a digital tread across the business areas like R&D/Engineering, Supply Chain Planning & Execution, Manufacturing, Asset Management & Field Service Management.

This is why the Digital Supply Chain (DSC) business area is important for our customers, SAP, and the whole society. Our team specializes in selling cloud-based software solutions to optimize supply chains for our customers in the Nordic & Baltic countries. Our focus on customers and to help them run at their best has given us the opportunity to grow We are currently looking for a DSC Solution Sales Executive to join our team in Denmark.    

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
•    Achievement of agreed (incremental) revenue & pipeline targets
•    Forecast and regular status updates on pipeline
•    Management of all opportunities and bids in Digital Supply Chain
•    Account planning, deal acceleration, closing plan
•    Pro-active collaboration w/ local Industry Sales teams
•    Negotiating of complex contract constellations
•    Pro-active contacts, interaction and collaboration with different business areas from our customers (development, planning, manufacturing, sales & distribution and aftersales / services)
•    Foster value-based solution approach in cooperation with respective industry- and product specialists
•    Develop and drive local go-to-market plans
•    Work on demand management activities with regional and local marketing & business development
•    Build, enable and manage the local partner landscape
•    Best practice sharing on a regional as well as market unit level


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
Required skills:
•    Bachelor or Master´s degree or higher in business, management, information systems, or Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or similar
•    Strong sales attitude (from building pipe to close the deal)
•    Good understanding (at least) of the fundamental processes in supply chain and logistics
•    Very confident manner in dealing with people on all company levels – especially with decision makers
•    Strong networking skills with customers and their buying centers
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills on executive level
•    Excellent organizational, business strategy planning and program management skills
•    Fluency in English and Danish


WORK EXPERIENCE:
•    Strong Background and track record in either Account Management, Industry sales or Solution sales
•    Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in similar sales roles
•    Developing and executing business plans and programs
•    Cross-industry experience in Industry processes (i.e. Design/R&D, Supply Chain Planning, Production/Manufacturing, Logistics, Service & Maintenance) is very favorable
