Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer & General Manager, APAC

Experience Required: Proven track record in wholesale and franchise management, particularly in the APAC region

Our client, a prestigious luxury fashion brand, is seeking an experienced Head of Wholesale & Franchising to oversee and drive the wholesale and franchise strategy across APAC. This role is ideal for a strategic and results-driven leader with a deep understanding of wholesale performance, franchise development, and market expansion.

Overview:

As the Head of Wholesale & Franchising APAC, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the regional distribution strategy. You will be responsible for managing wholesale agencies, franchise partners, and business growth initiatives to ensure brand success across key markets in APAC. This role requires a commercially savvy leader with strong relationship management skills and the ability to drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the APAC wholesale and franchising strategy to achieve sustainable growth.
  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities to drive seasonal and long-term expansion.
  • Align regional distribution initiatives with global business goals.

Wholesale & Franchise Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale agencies and franchise partners.
  • Oversee franchise agreements, ensuring alignment with brand values and business objectives.
  • Support new market development and expansion across South Korea, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.

Sales & Business Development:

  • Drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies and meeting seasonal targets.
  • Ensure consistency in brand perception across markets by collaborating closely with marketing, PR, and merchandising teams.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to inform decision-making and optimize performance.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee showroom operations and ensure a premium wholesale experience during sales periods.
  • Plan and execute partner initiatives, including pop-ups, marketing campaigns, and training programs.
  • Regularly visit key markets to strengthen relationships and oversee operational success.

Profile:

  • Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven approach.
  • Extensive experience in wholesale and franchising within the APAC region.
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communicator and team leader, capable of working cross-functionally.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in relevant market languages is an advantage.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Extensive experience in a leadership role within wholesale and franchising, ideally in the fashion, retail, or consumer goods sector.
  • Market Expertise: Strong understanding of the APAC wholesale and franchise landscape.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in sales analysis, reporting tools, and wholesale management systems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively across the APAC region.

Additional Information:

  • The role involves frequent travel (1-2 weeks per month) to oversee markets and strengthen relationships.
  • Dual reporting structure to the Chief Commercial Officer and the General Manager of APAC.
