Who We Are
Grand Joanne offers guests 162 hotel rooms, an Italian restaurant & bar "Joanne's", a rooftop terrace and several meeting and event spaces. But it is more than just that—it's a place where warmth, personality, and service come together to create something special.
Located in the heart of Copenhagen, we welcome guests in a cosy atmosphere, with a strong sense of community and commitment to quality. Our team members are the heart of everything we do, and we take pride in creating an environment where everyone can grow and feel seen.
The Role
As our Front Office Manager , you will be responsible for leading and inspiring the front office team, ensuring service standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. This is a role for someone who wants to take the next step in their career, bringing fresh ideas, energy, and motivation to the team. You will play an important role in shaping the guest experience, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and living the Grand Joanne values: "Be Joanne. Be nice. Be local. Be there".
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the front office team, enabling a positive and motivated work environment.
- Bringing in new ideas to enhance guest experiences and optimize front office operations.
- Handling guest feedback and finding solutions that improve satisfaction.
- Managing schedules, training, and development of the front office team.
- Collaborating closely with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Being open to working shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Who You Are
- An experienced front office professional, preferably with HMS Infor skills.
- A natural leader with experience managing a team.
- Someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is excited to bring new ideas to the table.
- A strong communicator who can build relationships with both guests and colleagues.
- Fluent in English, knowledge of the Danish language is preferred but not mandatory.
- A problem-solver who takes initiative and handles challenges with confidence.
- Experienced with Danish Labour Law and work regulations.
