We are seeking a skilled Coordinator to join our Copenhagen office, providing administrative support to the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating events, managing databases, and assisting in fundraising efforts.

This fixed-term position is available for approximately eight months, covering parental leave. The role requires flexibility and availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to staff fundraising events.

The Coordinator will be based in Copenhagen and report directly to the Senior Associate Director of Development. They will be expected to work from the Copenhagen office at least three days per week, with a focus on being flexible and supportive throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate event preparation, production, and follow-up, including major fundraising and outreach events.
  • Provide development and fundraising support, including gift entry, prospect research, and database management.
  • Liaise with the HRW Next Generation network in Denmark and develop strategies for growth and engagement.
  • Assist in fundraising and events in Norway, tracking donor information and gifts received.
  • Offer administrative and operational support to the Copenhagen office, including scheduling, travel arrangements, and data entry.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human rights, international relations, or a related field.
  • At least two years of relevant work experience, preferably in administration, events, or fundraising.
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English, with proficiency in MS Office applications and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
Estimated Salary:

DKK 55,000 - 65,000 per month (approximately USD 7,900 - 9,500), depending on qualifications and experience.
