EG Norge AS is dedicated to supporting, developing, managing, and maintaining our information technology infrastructure, which encompasses hardware, software, networks, and databases. Our team is also responsible for creating and implementing new features for both standardized and customized software to enhance overall system capabilities. This requires a diverse set of technical skills and a deep understanding of our business objectives and processes.

The system architecture and data model are crucial for daily operations and future growth, contributing significantly to the organization's success. Our dedicated team comprises over 40 professionals working across seven countries, with each team focusing on specific domains to ensure expertise and concentrated effort. The core architecture includes ERP, CRM, HRM, integration platforms, workflow automation, networks, servers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a NetSuite Functional Consultant, you will be involved in the customization and integration of the NetSuite installation, offering a comprehensive solution portfolio. Your primary goal will be to deliver seamless user experiences and optimize efficiency across various functional areas, development, and operations.

You will collaborate closely with business units, including finance, to comprehend their processes and requirements. Your role will involve planning, designing, configuring, and customizing solutions to meet their specific needs. You will operate at the intersection of business units and product development, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deliveries.

Daily operational tasks and documentation will also be integral to your role, and familiarity with agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence will be advantageous.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are an ideal candidate if you possess strong NetSuite expertise and a comprehensive understanding of its functionalities, modules, and features. Proven experience as a NetSuite Functional Consultant or in a similar role is essential.

Your responsibilities will include mastering stakeholder management and fostering collaboration across multiple departments. Additionally, your analytical skills will be vital in interpreting complex business requirements and translating them into effective NetSuite solutions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to analyze diverse environments, identify challenges, and provide effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in leveraging and customizing out-of-the-box NetSuite solutions, with the ability to assess when standard solutions may not suffice.
  • Competence in evaluating the current NetSuite environment to enhance utilization, functionality, and workflow automation across all business functions.
  • Skills in designing and implementing future-state data integrations into NetSuite efficiently.
  • Experience with Zone Advanced Billing, AVT, Dynatos/ReadSoft, Pagero, and Banking is desirable.
  • Familiarity with localization bundles, preferably Nordic bundles.
  • Experience in exporting, modifying, and importing data using saved searches, CSV import, mass updates, and scripts.
  • Ability to stay informed about existing and emerging IT and industry trends related to current and new technologies.

Educational Background

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite.
  • Relevant educational background (e.g., bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field).
  • NetSuite Consultant Certification is preferred.
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification is also preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, as it is the corporate language at EG.
