Senior Manager of Vendor and Outsourcing Governance

About the role
The Saxo Group is seeking a seasoned Vendor and Outsourcing Governance Lead to join our Digital Resilience & Trust Department. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining clear governance structures to manage vendors and outsourcing relationships effectively.
You will ensure that these relationships align with the bank's objectives and enhance overall Digital Resilience and Trust. Additionally, you will lead a dedicated team and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the Saxo Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor and Outsourcing Governance
- Establish and maintain clear governance structures to effectively manage vendor and outsourcing relationships.
- Operate the Vendor Governance and Outsourcing Committee, taking responsibility for managing critical outsourcing within the Bank.
- Ensure compliance with DORA and other applicable regulations related to third-party risk management.
- Implement robust mechanisms to continuously monitor and report on risks, compliance, and performance metrics for vendors and outsourced services.
- Conduct timely assessments and identify risks related to vendors and critical outsourcing, focusing on security, data protection, privacy, ethical use of AI, and other types of risk assessments.
- Ensure that outsourcing and vendor strategies align with the bank's objectives.
- Hold vendors accountable through clear governance structures and regular audits to ensure data protection, security, privacy, and ethics.
- Conduct timely assessments and identify risks related to vendors and critical outsourcing, focusing on security, data protection, privacy, and ethical AI, among others.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in vendor and outsourcing governance.
- Foster a culture of accountability and proactive risk management within the team.
- Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders across the Saxo Group to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Requirements
We imagine you having 7+ years of experience in vendor management and outsourcing governance, preferably within a financial institution. Experience with regulatory requirements such as DORA, and other regulations related to outsourcing, critical vendors, and third-party risk management.
Moreover, we are looking for a colleague with proven leadership experience in managing teams and driving strategic initiatives and someone with extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and performance monitoring for vendors and outsourced services.
Other important characteristics include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
