Materials Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Materials Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Copenhagen, Denmark.
As a Materials Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and manage the flow of materials from suppliers to our warehouses around the world.
Key responsibilities include:
- Placing purchase orders with suppliers based on market demand or purchase requisitions generated by our Operational Planning team.
- Ensuring timely fulfillment of orders by following up with suppliers on confirmation dates, shipment dates, and tracking goods in transit.
- Creating daily order book overviews to maintain transparency on order status and required actions.
- BUILDING STRONG COLLABORATIONS WITH SUPPLIERS AND INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS.
- Resolving supplier discrepancies and quality issues effectively through interaction with various internal and external stakeholders.
- SUPPORTING OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM IN SOLVING BLOCKED INVOICES.
You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Customer Service, Quality, and Data Management, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Management, Order Handling, or similar fields.
- A problem-solving mindset with good business acumen.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
