AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

We are seeking a Cloud Transformation Leader who can build strong relationships and execute a long-term strategy with our key customers. This role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight, and program management in those accounts.

Key Responsibilities

The Cloud Transformation Leader role entails a combination of the following:

  1. Developing strong relationships with senior executives and enterprise teams to understand customer needs, desired outcomes, and key results.
  2. Guiding customers along the journey of cloud adoption and digital transformation, including modernization & migration of existing IT assets.
  3. Providing customers with a great experience when engaging with AWS ProServe, throughout the sales cycle to the delivery of high-quality engagements.
  4. Acting as an evangelist for the full portfolio of AWS platform capabilities and services to accelerate realization of customer outcomes through AWS cloud.
  5. Preparing and presenting commercial and/or strategic proposals to customer C-Suite and executives.
  6. Managing commercial agreements and creating Statements of Work (SOWs) with accountability of revenue targets for AWS customers.
  7. Working with relevant product specialists and delivery experts across AWS to enable customers on AWS Cloud.
Requirements

Multiple years of IT consulting and management experience, with demonstrable business and technology transformation experience in customer-facing roles.

Senior level executive engagement and advisory experience within the manufacturing, life science, and FSI.

Extensive experience managing large Industry vertical accounts, IT and business consulting (relationship management, achieving growth targets/sales quotas, high customer satisfaction achievement, project portfolio management, contract negotiations, etc.).

Experience with contract and statement of work (SOW) development.

Strong analytical capabilities, relentlessly thinking big, championing innovative customer outcomes.

Experience in developing end-to-end solutions for the Manufacturing or Retail and Wholesale industry: for example in Supply Chain, Connected factory, Sustainability.

SAFe, Agile, and/or DevOps accreditation/experience a plus.

Experience with large-scale enterprise system integration, including SAP, BI Systems, Oracle, and others.

Experience with designing, building, and operating global IT organizations and infrastructures.
