The Compensation Strategy Leader will collaborate closely with senior personnel in the Maersk People Function. This position will be responsible for the strategic direction of rewards across various business sectors, serving as the expert advisor to senior management on compensation principles and frameworks.
Additionally, the Compensation Strategy Leader will provide guidance on the optimal utilization and prioritization of available reward components to effectively implement the business strategy.
Reporting directly to the Head of Global Rewards and overseeing one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
Create sustainable and innovative compensation solutions that empower all employees and support Maersk's growth. Maximize the value of human capital by engaging employees and promoting awareness of the rewards available. Ensure consistent and seamless execution of rewards across the organization. Maintain and enhance compensation principles and frameworks. Prioritize employee wellbeing and foster a culture of empathy throughout the organization. Collaborate closely with senior leaders in the Maersk People Function to advance the rewards agenda. Provide expert advice and coaching to senior leaders on compensation principles and frameworks. Offer guidance on leveraging and prioritizing reward components to effectively implement business strategies. Design, develop, and implement new compensation solutions that align with business needs. Oversee executive compensation in partnership with the Executive Rewards team. Collaborate with colleagues in the People Function and Rewards Delivery team to ensure the comprehensive management and delivery of the rewards agenda.Desired Qualifications:
Over 12 years of experience in compensation management. Strong expertise in compensation strategies. Proven ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining a balanced and pragmatic approach. Solid business acumen, along with knowledge in finance and economics. A proactive attitude, active listening skills, and a collaborative mindset are essential. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
