Raffles Service Agent Role Overview

As a Raffles Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service that meets their expectations and exceeds their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering Friendly and Professional Service

  1. Ensure seamless operations of the Raffles Service department by responding to guest inquiries, emails, and phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Obtain and verify all necessary information for room reservations, including stay dates, flight details, rates, special requests, and reservation notes.
  3. Complete the reservation process by combining all reservation details and sending a confirmation to the guest.

Focusing on Guest Experience

  1. Support guests in their decision-making process by providing accurate information on room prices, availability, and amenities.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of regular guests' preferences and provide personalized service to anticipate their needs.

Collaboration and Communication

  1. Work closely with Raffles Service colleagues to achieve upselling goals and improve revenue streams.
  2. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise.
  3. Stay informed about hotel occupancy, including sold-out dates, blackout dates, and peak periods.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and adhere to Raffles Hotel Singapore and Accor Hotels' standard operating procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements

Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum tertiary education or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of and experience with relevant software applications, including spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
  3. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the hotel industry.

Competencies

  1. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests from diverse backgrounds.
  2. Service-oriented with attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the Raffles Service department.
