We are seeking a dedicated professional in Copenhagen, Denmark, to step into the role of Financial Operations Assistant for Scandinavia. This position goes beyond mere financial management; it plays a crucial part in steering our service division towards profitability and sustainable advancement.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with our Business Controller for Scandinavia, delivering high-quality financial analysis, and partnering with business leaders to navigate economic challenges and seize opportunities. Your impact will not be confined to local operations; you will influence decisions across Scandinavia and corporate levels, necessitating strong communication skills and a holistic understanding of both financial and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and posting of month-end journal entries
  • Generation and compilation of month-end reports
  • Development of monthly management account packages
  • Creation of regular KPI reports for Operations and District Managers across Norway, Denmark, and Sweden
  • Support for quarterly district review reporting
  • Analysis of productivity metrics for frontline staff
  • OneStream reporting for month-end and quarterly figures
  • Assistance with the annual budgeting process
  • Support for internal and external audit requirements
  • Collaboration on procurement tenders across Scandinavia
  • Assistance with overdue accounts receivable and coordination with credit authorities in Denmark and Norway
  • Engagement with fleet providers regarding fleet management
  • VAT reporting and tax calculations
  • Management of fixed assets and insurance matters

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field or a minimum of two years of experience in a finance or accounting role
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication abilities
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Experience with VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables is essential
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to Norway and Sweden
