Your Impact

This role presents an exciting opportunity within a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with a talented Nordic underwriting team of 30 professionals. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, ranging from small and medium enterprises to large multinational accounts, focusing on insurance products such as business travel, accident, expatriate, group personal accident, and other people-centric insurance offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own portfolio of multinational clients, ensuring effective account management, underwriting, renewals, and technical support through collaboration with both internal and external partners.
  • Meet financial targets by achieving growth and profitability objectives established for the department.
  • Develop, implement, and execute business strategies to accomplish team objectives.
  • Analyze and enhance existing products, terms, and conditions while monitoring portfolio performance.
  • Work closely with brokers to drive profitable growth and sales in conjunction with our Distribution team.
  • Identify and implement best practices and procedures to enhance individual and team efficiency.

Additionally, we expect you to possess:

  • Proficiency in professional English and fluency in a Nordic language.
  • Experience in key account management and several years in the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with underwriting principles and procedures is advantageous.
  • Experience in collaborating with insurance brokers.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, along with effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage your own book of business independently.
  • While your educational background is not a primary concern, a degree in finance, business administration, or formal education in the insurance field is beneficial.

You do not need to be a seasoned salesperson, but a solid understanding of maintaining and nurturing client relationships is essential.
