Lundbeck is seeking a skilled Category Manager to drive strategy development, planning, and execution in Clinical Studies, globally across our organization.
Your New Role
As a Category Manager, you will work across a range of outsourcing and contracting activities, building and issuing RFXs, negotiating Work Orders and Change Orders, and managing our strategic vendors and lead improvement projects.
Your Future Team
Our R&D Procurement team is a global function consisting of experienced colleagues located in Copenhagen, Krakow, and Chicago. We prioritize strong category management processes, delivering value through strategy development, category planning, sourcing project execution, and stakeholder and supplier management.
What You Bring to the Team
We are looking for a person with project management skills, a profound understanding of clinical studies, business partnering skills, and an interest in building or further building their outsourcing skills. A Master's Degree from a relevant university or business school is required.

Requirements
- Project management skills with a minimum of 3 years' experience managing projects in or related to clinical development.
- Profound understanding of clinical studies, demonstrated through relevant experience or education.
- Business partnering skills, ability to influence, and an emphatic mindset.
- Interest in building or further building outsourcing skills, including project management, negotiations, legal understanding, data analysis, and category management.
- Master's Degree from a relevant university or business school.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach.
- Ability to manage many projects and tasks simultaneously with a high drive.
- English fluency, verbally and written.
