About the Role

Lundbeck is seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our R&D Procurement team. As a Category Manager, you will play a key role in driving category strategy development, planning, and execution for clinical studies across Lundbeck's global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category strategies to optimize sourcing activities for clinical studies
  • Manage sourcing projects and processes, including RFPs, bid defense meetings, and contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project and strategy alignment
  • Ensure clinical study quality, timelines, compliance, intellectual property, liability, and regulatory requirements are met

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in clinical development or procurement
  • Profound understanding of clinical studies and business partnering skills
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach
  • English fluency, verbal and written
