The Nordic Commercial Organization within SAP seeks an experienced Commercial Business Partner to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. This role plays a vital part in the commercial area, working closely with sales teams to support deal approval coordination, advise on deal structure, provide pricing information, and identify risks and revenue recognition issues.

A key aspect of this position is actively supporting the commercial process and coordinating complex transactions with other Subject Matter Experts, such as Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Pricing. You will also manage various commercial contracts and requests in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.

This role reports directly to the Nordic Commercial Director. Key responsibilities include ensuring that complex Cloud and On Prem Deals are approved in a proper manner and timeline according to internal deal approval processes and procedures. Additionally, you will analyze historical situations with customers and business practices, preview/predict potential pitfalls and issues for each particular business case, and timely communicate and follow up with the sales organization about any new facts or potential topics that may affect the deal and/or contract with the customer at hand.

You will also advise Account Executives regarding standard Contracting, Pricing, and Revenue Recognition topics, provide information when requested, review and comment on deal structures provided by the Account Executive, and prepare Contract Order Forms based on SAP's standard template. Furthermore, you will support the SAP Account Team in customer dialogue and negotiation related to SAP contracts and pricing rules.
