Job DescriptionWe are seeking a PhD candidate who will conduct independent research in the field of rhizosphere microbial ecology. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research environment at the Faculty of SCIENCE and will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
Responsibilities and Tasks- Conduct original research in rhizosphere microbial ecology, leading to the production of high-quality publications and a PhD thesis.
- Participate in teaching and knowledge dissemination activities, contributing to the development of academic skills and expertise.
- Engage in active research environments, including collaborations with other institutions and researchers.
As a PhD fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in research design, data analysis, and scientific writing. You will also contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of rhizosphere microbial ecology.

Benefits and CompensationThe University of Copenhagen offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A gross monthly salary of approximately 34,000 DKK (around 4,600 EUR), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
