About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Mærsk in Aarhus. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality payroll services and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bi-weekly and monthly payroll reconciliation and preparation
  • Paying salaries according to 7 different union agreements
  • Ensuring timely Social Insurance Tax Payment and Reporting
  • Managing advance payments and reimbursement requests
  • Continuous contact with partners, pension providers, and e-income
  • Identifying, reporting, mitigating, and tracking risks in the payroll delivery process
  • Providing accounting files to Finance and necessary documentation for internal and external audit
  • Managing timely submission of RICC controls
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer across different parties involved in service delivery
Requirements

We are looking for someone with relevant experience managing payroll and time tracking processes in a complex, international organization. In-depth knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll and benefits in Denmark is essential. Broader experience with HR operations and an outsourced payroll model is an advantage.
