Strategic Partnership Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Corporate Alliance Management team at Novo Nordisk.
Director/Associate Director Corporate Alliance Management (Maternity Cover - 12 months)Category: Business Development & Strategy
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of our external innovation strategy, working closely with internal teams and external partners to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth and improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex portfolio of strategic alliances to ensure successful execution and mutual benefit
- Facilitating relationships between internal teams and external partners to drive value generation and risk mitigation
- Developing tools and best practices for portfolio management to achieve operational excellence
- Representing Corporate Alliance Management as a centre of excellence, connecting stakeholders and sharing knowledge across the organization
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree with content focus on business, stakeholder management, or natural sciences and strong knowledge of the pharma value chain and business
- 8+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations, with a proven track record of managing pharma collaborations / alliances
- An in-depth understanding of contracts and ability to translate complex contract terms and conditions into simple outlines
- Excitement to drive end-to-end Alliance Management with Project Management best practices
- A firm understanding of multicultural impact on business relationships and experience in working in an international context
