Public Health Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Data Analyst to support regional efforts in monitoring, evaluation, and accountability of EIA2030 and donor funded projects at the WHO European Office in Copenhagen.
About the Role
The incumbent will contribute to the development of frameworks, guidelines, and tools required to monitor and evaluate progress towards goals and targets of the EIA2030. Key duties include contributing to the development and dissemination of reports on the progress towards goals and targets of the EIA2030, providing technical assistance to Member States towards improving national capacity in monitoring and evaluation, and immunization information systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of data analysis frameworks, guidelines, and tools for monitoring and evaluating progress towards EIA2030 goals and targets.
- Analyse and visualize available data in suitable formats and prepare reports and briefs as required.
- Provide technical assistance to Member States to improve their capacity in monitoring and evaluation, and immunization information systems.
- Maintain regular contacts with country focal points to ensure complete and timely reporting of required data.
Requirements
- University degree (Master's level) in health or mathematical science.
- Postgraduate training in public health or epidemiology or a related area relevant to the position.
- At least 7 years of public health experience in epidemiology and monitoring of communicable diseases.
Benefits
This position offers an annual base salary starting at USD 77,326, a variable post adjustment, and other benefits including 30 days of annual leave. The remuneration package is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
