Job Description

Role Summary / Purpose

The HVDC Market Growth Leader will be responsible for ensuring that the North & South Europe (NSE) Region secures a significant share of the growing HVDC market. This role will contribute to the definition of the NSE Region's strategic positioning on the HVDC market, manage the HVDC pipeline creation, develop customer intimacy with regional key accounts, and ensure commercial return of experience across the Region and the Grid Systems Integration Business Line.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the NSE Region's strategic positioning on HVDC:
    • Coordinate with the GSI HVDC Segment Leader and collect information and interact with market stakeholders.
    • Gain a comprehensive view of the HVDC market in the NSE Region, its segmentation, volume, and trends.
    • Contribute to defining a vision and strategy to maximize profitable growth for GSI NSE on the HVDC market.
    • Support the translation of the validated HVDC vision and strategy into concrete commercial action plans.
  • Develop customer intimacy with key accounts across the GSI NSE Region:
    • Develop knowledge of and relationships with key accounts following HVDC projects.
  • HVDC pipeline creation and management:
    • Support the identification and management of HVDC pipeline opportunities.
    • Prioritize HVDC opportunities based on winning chances, profitability, and risk profile.
  • HVDC proposal management lead – people leader:
    • Oversee all GSI proposal management activities related to HVDC opportunities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality proposals.
    • Accountable for order intake volume and associated profit for the HVDC segment in the NSE Region.
    • Ensure GSI offers are executable and competitive to meet region goals.
    • Manage region proposal managers and implement GSI processes.
  • Code of ethics, EHS, and processes:
    • Comply with the Grid Solutions sales and tendering process and GE code of ethics and EHS.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Extensive experience in commercial, sales, and/or marketing functions.
  • Experience in large and complex technical B2B sales in an international environment.
  • Experience in the energy and industry market is an advantage.
