If you're passionate about warehousing at a global scale, including ambient, temperature-controlled, container yards, and e-commerce, and want to build long-lasting relationships with key warehousing automation partners, we have an exciting opportunity for you./ppThe Asset Strategy & Strategic Partnerships function aims to achieve the right asset intensity to enable our growth and deliver quality customer outcomes. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering these outcomes./ppbResponsibilities/b/pulliIdentify, qualify, and establish global and regional MHE partners in consultation with key internal stakeholders./liliExecute MHE procurement strategies for warehousing sites, ensuring global partners are deployed at all locations meeting site go-live dates and budgets./liliBuild effective internal relationships with strategic stakeholders to achieve the best results for the business./liliManage the end-to-end procurement process, including negotiations for new and established site investments in compliance with procurement guidelines./liliFraming and implementing favorable contractual terms and conditions for all deployments./liliManage and analyze asset data to enable optimized total cost of ownership of the global MHE fleet in Maersk./liliDerive and lead fleet optimization initiatives in collaboration with regional management./liliEnsure effective utilization, total cost management, and asset life cycle management./liliStay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, innovations, and supplier capabilities./liliLead digital and automation initiatives to simplify category visibility./liliIdentify areas for process improvement and implement best practices./liliDevelop, standardize, and scale up 'Go to market' strategies with investment projects requiring MHE solutions./liliDrive the sustainability agenda./liliDevelop online catalogues for standard MHEs and automated procurement process to a maturity of self-service./li/ulpbWhat You Bring/b/pulliYou are passionate about logistics and warehousing business and have demonstrated significant impact in your organization./liliA university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields would be an advantage./liliYou have hands-on direct experience in setting up, procuring, and contracting large warehousing MHE deployments for international blue-chip logistics and manufacturing companies./liliYou have diverse and full life cycle experience within warehouse MHE solutions, from concept to go-live to steady-state operations./liliYou leverage your profound domain knowledge to understand and apply Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) frameworks for capex and opex with ease./liliYou have expert-level understanding of how global MHE suppliers operate in various global markets and how to deal with complex local dynamics by leveraging global relationships./liliYou have hands-on experience using digital procurement and fleet management systems./liliYou are an expert in deriving MHE solutions ownership models, including upfront capex, lease, or subscription models./liliYou have strong interpersonal skills and experiences, finding it easy to build relationships on all levels, both internally and externally./liliYou are not afraid to make decisions, provide recommendations, and handle complex stakeholder matrices./liliYou have the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work with people from different backgrounds./liliYou are comfortable with international travel up to approximately 25% per annum./li/ul
