About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Digital Revenue Strategist to join our team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our Pricing & Monetization department, you will play a crucial role in designing and building Trustpilot's monetization strategy, driving revenue growth and enhancing customer value.

Your primary goal will be to optimize and maintain our packaging offering, ensuring it provides the right value to customers while aligning with our proposition for different segments. You will work closely with our Product and Product Marketing teams to decide how to best bundle new features in our packages, optimizing upgrade rates and revenue generation from innovations.

An essential aspect of this position involves researching various monetization tactics that Trustpilot can adopt to enhance revenue or increase EBITDA margins. You will have end-to-end ownership of project lifecycle, from initial discovery to presenting a case for change, developing the go-to-market strategy, and tracking results after launch.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, high levels of curiosity, and the ability to cope with ambiguity. You will need to deep dive into different topics, collect perspectives, and scope out potential opportunities. While focusing on long-term strategy development is critical, you must also have a 'get it done' attitude, willing to go above and beyond to deliver results, keeping stakeholders accountable.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize our core B2B proposition, ensuring our lineup of plans delivers on customer needs and is highly competitive in the market.
  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to define new features to develop and decide how to best package them (e.g., bundling, add-on, tiering, etc.).
  • Use commercial judgment, analytical skills, competitor research, and feedback from customers and Commercial team to ideate new pricing & monetization models for Trustpilot, increasing Net Retention Rate (NRR).
  • Support the Director of Pricing & Monetization in exploring net new ancillary revenue opportunities, from initial hypothesis to business cases and concept development, to end-to-end project delivery.
  • Constantly monitor market trends, key industry events, established SaaS players, and influencers to bring an 'outside-in' perspective to the business, informing internal efforts.
  • Collaborate with Pricing & Monetisation colleagues to ensure our plans are priced competitively and in accordance with the value provided to customers.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of delivering commercial initiatives, with high visibility within the company, clear ownership, and accountability, and proven impact on business financials.
  • Experience in matrixed companies, ideally in pricing, monetization, or strategy & operations roles, with proven ability to deliver autonomously in fast-paced environments.
  • Comprehensive stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders in day-to-day interactions.
  • Familiarity with different pricing and subscription models across SaaS and B2B markets, with a deep understanding of how SaaS metrics work and are correlated (NRR, churn, rule of 40, etc.).
  • High levels of curiosity, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to cope with ambiguity to explore new opportunities, and a 'get it done' attitude to constantly pursue these opportunities, even in situations where you need to convince everyone else of why your idea is worth pursuing.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen: comfortable creating compelling business cases.
