Job OverviewWe invite applications from highly qualified candidates with a proven track record of original scientific contributions and leadership experience in veterinary clinical pathology. As a professor in this esteemed institution, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research, providing research leadership and management, teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and contributing to the development of the department's academic field.
The successful candidate should possess a DVM degree, Danish authorization to practice veterinary medicine, or be willing to obtain it shortly after commencing employment. Additionally, they should hold a postgraduate degree (PhD or equivalent) within the fields of research mentioned above. A completed residency program, board eligibility or diplomate status within ECVCP/ACVCP or ECVIM/ACVIM, is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and publish scientific articles at an international level
- Provide research leadership and management, including laboratory management and engagement in external academic activities
- Teach and supervise students at pre- and postgraduate levels
- Develop and lead research projects, securing external funding, and managing research groups
- Highly respected reputation in the field of veterinary clinical pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
The estimated salary for this position is between 500,000 - 600,000 DKK per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
