Sales Director for Contract Market

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to spearhead our contract market expansion in Europe. This key role will drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, and navigate the complexities of the contract market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets in the European professional/contract market.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to create tailored solutions.
- Navigate the nuances of the contract market, staying up-to-date on key requirements, labels, and certificates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align strategies and achieve business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Represent the company at international trade shows and events to promote products and expand the customer base.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
As a seasoned sales professional, you possess a deep understanding of commercial strategies and have a proven track record of driving sales growth. You excel in maintaining and building strong relationships with both new and existing customers, as well as managing internal stakeholders effectively.
Requirements- A relevant education, such as a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the furniture or related industry targeting the contract market.
- A proven ability to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
- In-depth commercial understanding and sales flair.
- A strong technical understanding of products.
- Strong project management competencies and the ability to lead and coordinate complex projects.
- Familiarity with key requirements, labels, and certificates for the contract market.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, international environment.
