Research Opportunities at SDU
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Department of Political Science and Public Management, Syddansk Universitet (SDU). The successful candidate will contribute to an existing research agenda on public health, absenteeism, occupational psychology, and public management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced quantitative analyses and contribute to the development of theories in the field of public health.
- Work closely with a small international team to analyze data and write research papers for internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals.
- Disseminate research results through presentations, workshops, and academic publications.
- Support the Principal Investigator in project-related matters, such as grant applications and event organization.
- Participate in the intellectual life at SDU, including seminars and discussion groups.
About the Position
The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be part of a team that focuses on managing the psychosocial work environment for public employees, reducing stress, and increasing well-being. The research agenda builds on existing research collaborations with Danish public organizations and utilizes data from public employees' well-being, stress, absenteeism, presenteeism, and management traceable over several years.
Requirements
- Completed PhD in Health Science or Social Science, with a focus on public health, psychology, or related disciplines.
- Strong quantitative methods skills and experience with survey designs.
- Proficiency in English and ability to work in a team.
