We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research, University of Copenhagen. Our research group is focused on understanding the scope and function of lysine acetylation in gene regulation, as well as the mechanisms of gene activation by cis-regulatory enhancers.

The successful candidate will have a PhD degree in natural or medical science and a strong background in proteomics, genomics, and cell signaling. Experience with quantitative mass spectrometry, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and bioinformatics analysis of next-generation sequencing data is highly desirable.

Our group uses state-of-the-art technologies, including CRISPR-based genome editing, advanced microscopy, and supercomputer resources. We collaborate extensively with top-level international researchers and publish regularly in top-ranked journals.

The postdoc position is funded by an ERC advanced grant and additional funding from the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The duration of the full-time position is 2 years with a possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will have excellent scientific productivity, evidenced by high-quality research publications, and be able to conduct independent and creative research. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are essential.

Requirements
