Retail Manager – Location: Denmark / Jutland

We are looking for a Retail Manager who will be responsible for managing, maximizing sales and profit, maintaining high levels of customer service, and promoting the ECCO brand.

Key duties:

  1. Being an ambassador of the ECCO brand and proudly representing ECCO outside the company.
  2. Positively promoting and growing the ECCO brand and values while remaining loyal to our core customers, through enforcing ECCO/KRM standards in all stores on regular store visits and always following Company guidelines.
  3. Acting as “Retail Experts” within the realms of driving business and business coaching.
  4. Monitoring and evaluating individual store performance.
  5. Maximizing sales performance through recruiting, motivating, and developing the right Store Managers.
  6. Maximizing store profitability in the area and influencing sales through analysis, stock management, and costs.
  7. Taking full responsibility for all profit and loss.
  8. Ensuring appropriate merchandise including stock depth, size range, product mix, and other relevant factors.
  9. Ensuring a premium level of service and quality as well as professionalism in the stores, remembering the human touch and personalized approach.

Key requirements:

  1. Min. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in Retail.
  2. Experience in managing and motivating people.
  3. Strong leadership skills, taking responsibility and ownership in the role.
  4. Positive, open-minded, supportive, and flexible team player, with the ability to work independently.
  5. Passion for Retail – bringing high levels of energy and commitment to the business.
  6. Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  7. Ability to read, write, and speak English at a proficient level, with a thorough understanding of Swedish and Norwegian.
  8. Driving License B category.

Info:

The position is a full-time position (37 hrs/w), with a preferred starting date of December 2019, or January 1st, 2020. The workplace will be divided between our offices and stores in Copenhagen and Jutland. Some traveling to other markets will be required during the year.
