About your role:

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious sales channel manager to support our Net Zero growth ambitions. In this role, you will manage sales channels for solar panel installations and boiler servicing, owning all sales, volume, and margin acquisition targets. You will support telesales and field sales teams, develop and implement sales strategies, and support forecasting and achieving ambitious sales targets. Collaborating with CVM and Marketing teams, you will define acquisition and renewal campaigns, manage third-party service provider relationships, and monitor pipeline, channel and vendor performance based on KPIs, identifying & actioning improvement initiatives.

Additionally, you will implement our B2C sales strategy for solar propositions and ensure sales pipeline targets are met for our boiler services. You will also own the governance forum with Bord Gáis Energy Exec management team, providing updates on the portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with CVM and field engineers to manage and administer lead pipeline to optimize engineer capacity and sales agent performance.

About You:

  • Good knowledge of energy/utilities/renewables industry and experience in the solar or boiler service industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sales channels and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills with experience of dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools and comfortable working with Data via Excel and/or Salesforce.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to work on initiative.
  • Experience in supporting sales teams and third party vendors, and strong reporting and analytical skills.
