Drive sales excellence and strategic development in a dynamic and innovative environment, where you will lead by example and motivate employees to achieve results. As Global Sales Director at Asetek, you will be part of a market-leading organisation with a strong international presence, focusing on quality and innovation.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the company's sales organisation consisting of 10 employees across Denmark, USA, and Taiwan. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market positioning for Asetek.
- Fostering strong customer relationships with key customers and partners, leveraging your expertise in selling to OEM customers and navigating complex international markets.
- Leading sales team performance through effective KPI development and follow-up, ensuring seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Forecasting sales and revenue streams to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
- Identifying new market opportunities and developing go-to-market strategies to capitalise on emerging trends.
- Collaborating with the executive management team on sales performance and strategic initiatives, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
To succeed in this role, you will require solid experience from a similar sales position, preferably within the industry producing computer components or gaming equipment. Hands-on experience in selling to OEM customers and a proven track record of success in complex international markets are essential. Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical and strategic skills, as well as the ability to motivate and lead a team remotely.
In this position, you can expect up to 100 annual travel days, primarily to Asia and the US. It is crucial that you have experience travelling in Asia and conducting business with Chinese and/or Taiwanese partners.
Language proficiency in English is a must, with excellent written and spoken communication skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and CRM systems is also necessary.
A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum is on offer, commensurate with experience and location in Denmark. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess the requisite skills and experience, we encourage you to apply.
