Dr. Reddy’s is expanding its consumer healthcare portfolio by integrating North Star NRT (Nicotinell, Nicabate, Habitrol, and Thrive) from Haleon, a £220mn+ turnover business trading in 31 markets globally. This strategic acquisition will form the foundation of Dr. Reddy’s future consumer healthcare platform.
Role overview
The Sales Manager will drive the growth and market penetration of Nicotinell products by strategically managing retail and pharmacy relationships. The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that align with company objectives, fostering strong partnerships with retailers and ensuring efficient product distribution. This role is pivotal in enhancing brand presence, achieving sales targets, and supporting the company’s mission to help individuals out of a nicotine addiction through effective nicotine replacement therapies.

Key Responsibilities:
- STRATEGIC ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Develop & nurture strong commercial relationships with key partners including setting up contracts.
- Contract negotiation: negotiate terms, pricing structures, and promotional agreements with key customers.
- Joint Business Planning: Collaborate with accounts to develop annual business plans that drive mutual growth, achieving targets.
- SALES STRATEGY & EXECUTION
- Create comprehensive sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets for Nicotinell products.
- Launch promotional campaigns and new product introductions in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Track sales metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) regularly.
- Adjust strategies based on performance data and market feedback to optimize results.
- PARTNER MANAGEMENT
- Manage relationships with 3rd party sales force providers and distributors to ensure efficient product distribution.
- Monitor performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Address any logistical challenges to prevent stock shortages or delays.
- Provide training and support to partners to enhance their effectiveness.
- ORGANISATION
- Communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure buy-in of sales plans and priorities.
- Stay informed about market trends, consumer behaviours, and competitor activities.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in Consumer Health (over the counter) sales with strategic top accounts.
- Fluent in English and one of the following languages: Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, & storytelling capabilities.
- Strong leadership skills allowing to manage external partners.
- Data driven – the ability to use and analyse data to drive improvement.
- Self-starter and self-driven.
- High agility level acting with speed - has courage to take appropriate risks.
- Strong creativity – thinks out of the box – creates solutions even if challenging.
- Externally focused - driven by adding value to consumers and customers.
