The position of Public Health Operations Manager - Emergency Response is a critical role within our organization. As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in emergency response, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of operational procedures and structures for managing WHO/EURO responses to emergencies.

We offer a competitive salary of $77,326 USD per year, plus a variable post adjustment of up to $5,930 USD per month, depending on the duty station location.

The ideal candidate will have at least seven years of relevant experience in supporting emergency operations involving public health emergency planning and management systems. You should possess excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and obtain results while adhering to tight deadlines.

In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of operational procedures and structures for efficient emergency response, including providing technical advice and building partnerships with various stakeholders. You will also oversee the EURO SHOC and IMST personnel's access to orientation and training tools, as well as play a key role in developing simulation exercises to train for and validate management of emergencies.

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate your expertise in emergency management, public health, or a related field, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
