Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Biotech Research and Innovation Centre. The successful candidate will work on a three-year project focused on ribosome specialization in colorectal cancer, leveraging a range of wet lab and computational techniques to advance our understanding of this complex disease.

The project involves exploring how pathological translation programs contribute to the development of colorectal cancer, using mouse and human organoid cultures. Key techniques include ribosome profiling, RiboMeth-seq, and mass spectrometry. The methods are well-established in the laboratory or available through core facilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should possess:

  • A PhD in biomedical or natural sciences
  • Extensive experience in molecular and cellular biology
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and spoken

Prior experience in cancer research and working with protein synthesis/translation would be advantageous, as would computational skills.
